Lee Shipman & Providence Technology Solutions are hiring an Account Manager – Employee Benefits for a benefit technology vendor. Our client is seeking to hire the candidates in a permanent capacity or as a contract-to-hire. This role can be worked remotely. See responsibilities and required experience below:
Responsibilities:
- Maintain relationships with clients
- Technical support, research, troubleshooting issues between software and users
- Interface and interact with vendors and business partners to solve client problems
- Client training
- Understand benefit plan summary data and translate plan summary information to define eligibility and enrollment rules.
- Work extensively with spreadsheet applications to collect and modify employee enrollment data
- Participate in meetings and conference calls as a vendor and client representative in the benefits administration process
Required knowledge, skills, and abilities:
- High aptitude to learn new and complex software applications
- 3+ years of Customer Service Experience
- Ability to train inexperienced users to use the software
- Intermediate to expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Benefits administrations and enrollment experience, most commonly obtained by working in Human resources, the health / life insurance industry, or an insurance agency
- Outstanding communication skills, including verbal and written communication
- Ability to remain self-organized and self-prioritized in a busy work environment
- Ability to consistently meet important deadlines
- Meticulous attention to detail in work and quality and follow-through
- Success in roles primarily responsible for developing and fostering successful client relationships
