Lead .Net Developer – 6 Month Contract to Hire (Tampa)

Lee Shipman and Providence Technology Solutions are hiring a Lead .Net Developer for a 6 month contract-to-hire position in Tampa, Fl.

The .Net Developer is responsible for designing and developing the engine that goes into developing web-based and client/server applications by primarily writing code. They partner with software developers and business liaisons to understand the elicited software requirements to ensure that the operations of the application are created and maintained in a consistent, logical, error-free, and optimal manner.

Key Responsibilities:
*Develops technical workflows using different modeling techniques
*Develops and maintains new and existing web-based and client/server applications by writing code
*Works with database administrators to design relational databases
*Writes system test scripts and fixes software defects when required
*Builds coding standards to ensure consistency across applications
*Creates custom ad-hoc reports
*Mentor others

Experience:
*Knowledge of software development lifecycle methodologies (e.g. Waterfall, Iterative, Agile)
*Able to write software code in both web and client/server environments using the following:
Software Languages & Architecture: C#, .Net, C#, HTML, XML, SQL, Webservices, Entity Framework, Javascript Frameworks such as JQuery, AngularJS or Backbone

• Object Oriented Design and common design patterns
• Development Tools: Visual Studio, Team Foundation Server
• Operating Systems: Windows
• Server Types: Windows Server
• Relational Databases: SQL Server, Oracle

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field from four year college or university; or three to four years related experience
