Optimization Analyst – Charleston, SC

Providence Technology Solutions is hiring an Optimization Analyst in Charleston, SC.  The Optimization Analyst is responsible for end-to-end eCommerce optimization solutions including identifying, designing, implementing, measuring and analyzing/reporting the performance of data-driven eCommerce strategy.

Responsibilities and duties:

The Optimization Analyst’s responsibilities include:

  • Optimization analysis
  • Data-driven solutions
  • Data analysis, visualization and reporting
  • Idea validation strategy
  • Problem statement creation and analysis
  • Cross channel eCommerce strategy
  • User research and user experience strategy
  • Customer psychology strategy
  • Industry benchmarking

Skills / Experience Required:

  • 2 + years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, eCommerce or related subject
  • Creativity and innovation skills
  • Advanced knowledge of eCommerce strategy
  • Advanced relationship, collaboration, and communication skills
  • Technical, business, leadership, and financial acumen
  • Measurement and analytics skills
  • Presentation skills
  • Advanced user and usability testing
  • Advanced data analysis and reporting


  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, eCommerce or related subject
  • Experience working at a professional services company focused on Optimization
  • Experience with Optimization Platforms including Optimizely, Monetate, Qubit, VWO, etc
  • Experience with Analytics Platforms including Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Heap, Looker, Tableau, RJMetrics, etc
  • Experience with Magento and Salesforce Commerce Cloud platforms
