Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure proper operation of all database and database servers (MSSql Server, MSAccess).

Providence Technology is seeking a Database Developer who is skilled in SAS programming and data science.  This position is a contract to hire opportunity working in a newly created Data Analytics department with a premier client. You will be a part of a team chartered to merge and mine large amounts of sales and business operations data to develop algorithms and production grade analytical solutions that drive critical business decisions.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop an analytical solution based on a working prototype. Expectation is that this solution be developed in SAS (Note: First 6 months will be almost 100% devoted to this and the analytics task).
  • Analytics (Regression, Clustering, Linear Programming).
  • An understanding of different data sources, their proper uses, and their limitations.
  • Cross-functional, internal and external consulting.

Overview:

 The Providence Technology Solutions (PTS) team has over 13 combined years of experience working with the bswift platform.  Our team is proficient in many areas of the bswift platform including (but not limited to):

  • Facilitate file integration between bswift and other benefit vendors such as Flex and COBRA
  • Monitor vendor interfaces and troubleshoot integration issues
  • Monitor the Vendor Interfaces to ensure EDI files are being sent and received weekly and accurate data is transmitted
  • Work with EDI specialist and carriers on new file implementations during build, testing and deployment

SVP of IT Operations (Virtual) – Preferably SE Region

JOB SUMMARY
The SVP of IT Operations and Infrastructure will lead the Network, Telcom, Application Delivery, and Data Center teams.  These teams are in turn led by VP-level IT management.  Initially, this individual will be responsible for leading the IT Operations for a highly transformational enterprise Program to consolidate several functioning production systems into a core suite of applications built on a common, integrated framework to unify the services offerings in our market.  Throughout the Program, the SVP  will have direct visibility, insight, and share talent selection authority with the CIO over the IT Operations teams within the core IT function.  The SVP will be responsible for the implementation of the business’s new core systems and the retirement and decommission of all legacy systems.

The successful candidate will be selected based on their ability to meet the objectives of the current role, and will also be considered a principle internal candidate as successor to the CIO role.  Therefore, the incumbent must possess, at a minimum:

Job Summary

This role supports delivery of electronic premium sales while ensuring operational effectiveness throughout the enrollment acquisition lifecycle into ongoing inforce administration. Manages client expectations by providing electronic sales solutions through the implementation of enrollment technology that enables client’s products to be enrolled on external proprietary enrollment systems.
